    Default Mitsubishi KOS EEPROM reading in-circuit or take off device?

    Can the EEPROM on a Mitsubishi KOS (Smart Key) be read in-circuit? or will the memory be corrupted?

    I have VVDI2 with clip.

    ASX 2010 24C16
    ASX 2012 24C16
    Outlander 2011 24C16

    you should remove and read out of circuit

    what voltage please? im having issues reading a 2020 outlander KOS eeprom with L16 mask on it.

    remove chip and read outside better....

    L means Low voltage usually 2.8 or 3.3V it depends the manufacturer
