Default Fiat 500 Remote not working - all keys lost

Hi all done Fiat 500 today but remote would not work 2013 model

Yes i used delphi remote as always, yes i selected 10 pin on precode screen, as done previously.

I tried also generate delphi remote on Xhorse Mini key tool, also programmed in fine but no remote working. (just to check i didnt have a damaged aftermarket delphi remote)

I done a battery reset on the car, i also tried a different tool to PRECODE and add the keys and same result.

Customer had working remote key yesterday before she lost it, so any ideas??

customer is happy enough to have car working,, but i would like to know for future how to resolve such issue

This is your problem. For Fiat always use original remotes.

Thanks pete, but i have a bag of aftermarket fiat delphi keys that i always use, never had this issue remote always works.

I tried one of those first, no remote,, so then i tried to generate with keytool just to double check my remote.

Anyway I would still try original because I heard from my friends that aftermarket fail very much. Even though you programmed multiple remotes before from same bag, doesn't mean this time will be OK. And what tool you precode remote?

True, i could have 2 bad remotes i guess.

I used lonsdor to precode (always use this)

then i tried X300 DP PLUS to precode (used this one time before)

all times both have worked with remote previously no issues

I wll get some Renewed genuine delphi in stock, in case for next time
