Hello,

I like to build a bench testrig for:

Discover Media, Discover Pro, Color Media.

Does somebody have some experiance with this?
Probably I have to test the Displays and the Navicomputer together because of component protection:

My Plan is to buy a wirring and a working golden unit from Ebay.

Is there anything else requiered? Gateway for example?
CAN data?

I have been working to build a bench test rig to explore the MIB2 platform. I have got the system to load without a CAN gateway. 12V power to the Head Unit was all I needed, just using wiring diagrams that can be found on erWin.

Obviously the head unit thinks the car is just "off" so some functionality isn't enabled. I'd be curious to know whether a CAN gateway can enable that, it hasn't bothered me so far.
