Hi all.
I have the above named phone but i'm having trouble with the in car bluetooth as follows --
The phone pairs with my car no problems.
On my steering wheel i have a button which when pressed allows me to make a call just by saying the person's name i want to speak to.
This all worked fine with my old phone a Samsung Galaxy J7 Neo.When i press the button using the Samsung i get an audible beep from my car stereo and i'm able to initiate a call by speaking a name, which is then repeated back to me as "Calling *name* " and the call connects.
With my new phone however when i press the steering wheel button i get nothing, no beep, nothing to indicate that voice calling is active.
All that happens is that Google assistant opens on my phone and waits for input, which is pretty useless as my phone is always in my pocket when in the car.And this kind of negates the term "hands free" as to do anything i have to physically touch an on screen button to get a call to connect.
Is there a setting i have missed ?
Is there any way of getting the Honor 8x to perform as the Samsung did ?
Any help appreciated.
