Hi, good morning.
Dont know if this is right section for this post, or should be in ECU section.

We have this car Toyota RAV 4, year 1997. Original cars ecu is burnt, and no way to repair it.
We have found an identical unit, with same reference.
Car had two working keys, no problem with thembefore ecu burnt.

I know in modern types bridging 4 and 13, will do the task. But this car has no OBD II, its OBD 1, plug is in engine bay.
Does exist the same rule for these OBD 1?? bridging some pins will resync ??

Or how can we do to start this oldie please ??

Car ecu has no eeprom, this car has external immobox. But as ecu its used from another car, I think wont hel makinf a transponder from the immo box, right ??

Thanks so much, if anyone can help us with this.

Regards
