BMW F10 2016 550i DME ISN N63

Hello,

Is it possible to read DME from this model to obtain ISN with any tool? By my research it should be N63 - N63B44O1 (N63TU)

Magic Motorsport Fxx / Flex probably can read it out once you have completed a write to the ECU.

What do you mean 'once completed a write to the ECU'? There's need to write something to ECU first and then read ISN or what? Because I found a person with Magpro Flex from Magic Motorsports who claim is able to read it without opening but still I don't know if ISN will be visible or possible to decrypt.

You need to write a file to the ECU first, and then MM will be able to read the ISN.
I think they might be re-mapping the memory sectors and moving part of the eep memory into unprotected area.

You can connect, virtual read, write the standard virtual read, and then you are able to read the ISN with the Fxx flasher.

Flex can do a full read and then you can search ISN by hand.

Autohex definitely can do it. My bud brought me one of those DME to be repaired yesterday afternoon after using that tool to get the ISN, even after damaging the pcb in opening it. It's listed in CGDI but I haven't yet tried it. More than likely it will do it though, since it seems to have trouble only with much older types of DME.

Ok I must say I don't know what is difference between virtual read and full read but I would like to avoid writing anything to ECU. So I guess I can make full read without any modifications in software's ECU? And then someone will be able to search ISN by hand or maybe tool like VVDI will do it if I load ECU file to software?

I just need ISN to make a key, there's no working key at this moment. I have friend with Magpro Flex, CAS4 I will read by myself
