I read with smelecom multiplex. But it doesn't write back correctly... Anyone know if the BCM2 is better to write? After write, it still shows old mileage.
Or maybe can help calculate dump above..
Thanks,
A

No, its not a bad read, Most likely its not in the FUjitsu. Maybe in the c66 like another poster said? What got me is that the unit is almost identical with the RAV4... same board #, same components... Spansion S29GL128S MCU... etc...
Will try to read the c66...

Show pictures ecu and inside board

The data is in eeprom and SPANSION processor, doing the eeprom only will not work.
The Spansion algo is like a Fujitsu, but with a different constant to get the CS.

I think mileage in small c66 msop.
Most likely it is stored in the c66.... but I may not find out since the hot air gun decided to give it a lift into the abyss...... So now looking for a new unit.....
To be continued........
"I think" "Most likely"
If it has a Spansion processor it controls the display and stores the mileage. But go ahead and experiment.
As I understand it from research, 2019 Corolla is the same setup as the 2018 Camry.

I just confirmed... it is stored in the c66. I tried replacing the lost eeprom and I get diff #s with diff dumps.
Like I said above, this is very similar to a RAV4, not Camry... All parts are identical to 18-19 RAV4.
Now if I can just figure out the algo...............
Post a file and it can be corrected.
I guess what I read is wrong.
