    Default Help diagnoseMerc W209 faulty component Key, Eis or Esl

    Hi guys

    i have a w209, the key wont turn and steering won't unlock. I have read the key, EIS and ESL with CGDI MB but from the info i can't tell which is faulty or what the problem is. Please see attached pics and advise, thx in advance :-)

    Default test EZS

    try to read EIS with CGDI IR reader, to check Eis comunication betwen EIS/Key,

    this ELV is better than w204 elv, that every time burns eletrical motor.


    You can Check Can status and see if can 15 is ok,

    if it shows can 15 ok when you insert the key, the problem is the ESL.

    if it not shows can 15 ok when you insert the key, the problem is the EIS

    Better if for this job you have test platform for ezs,for key reader and coil checker!
    Thinking away you just waste time.
