Guys, it's success! The cause of all the confusion was the ESL emulator.
I connected the second one and everything works, all the keys on the NEC too. The remote works great.

Wow, so much hassle and time wasted because of faulty emulator. But this is our job nature and sometimes things like that happens, it can't be easy everyday
