    Default Small business accounting software

    Hi,
I am a Ltd company, not VAT registered, and trying to stay that way.
The last 7 years an accountant has done my accounts and all filings at Companies house and HMRC.
This year he has told me that he cant do them, I'm considering doing it all myself, I have very few invoices and not too many bills, so how difficult can it be. I already do a spreadsheet with everything on it for the accountant.

I'm looking for forums etc where I can ask questions and get advise
Which software package is better suited to my needs. Looking at Sage and Quickbooks at the moment
How do other small businesses do it

    1) Xero does NOT have a telephone number and the help centers are
In different parts of the world with your money details. DK user name
    Number of thanks etc.

    2) Shit Books as a bussiness owner, once after the first 6 months of
    Daily. Yeah great do it.

    3) As an employee of a company (www.meat-head-motors.co.uk) that
Uses Shit Books, after the first 9 months, you daily bollockings
Taper off down to monthly bolockings, then down to just annual
By Bollockings, which are proved to be not your fault.

Personally would ask Sage for a demo, see if you can go to a
low life accounts and have a play with a live system

just rememher no matter what you choose and screw up, you DK post count
join date, download, THANKS, and rep points are stored safely
