Is KESS 5.028 actually available or not?

Hello,

Please forgive my ignorance here. I have a red PCB (EU clone, I think) with KESS v2 5.017. I'm trying to work on a Chevy Tahoe which uses Prt 584 | GM / Opel / Chevrolet Delco E38. I've read support for this protocol is in KESS v2 5.028 FW. So I think I need that, first of all.

I've read articles over a year old now about 5.028 "coming soon", but still, no one seems to sell a clone of it yet? Is it still not released? Anyone know the status of it? Is there any upgrade procedure to newer firmware by changing the SD card? Or is it far more involved?

If it's not widely available, what are my options? Buy a genuine version, or send my unit out for an upgrade?

Hi, thank you. I actually came across this site from other threads here. Is this the only option, to buy a unit from him? What’s the difference between theirs vs genuine? Does anyone have experience with them is it legit or not? It’s currently not in stock (says 2-3 days). So there’s no other upgrade option currently available?

U ask what different between original and clone?
Its still a clone... maybe better own but at the end... a clone.

Thanks. I'm just trying to figure out what are my options besides buying one from 16pin.ru. There doesn't seem to be anyone else with this FW available.
