    Default BMW F10 530d Broken ECU-Adaptaction Advice

    Hi there.

I have ECU DDE8 EDC17C56 from BMW F10 2011, there is not access to read eeprom via ktag and any another tool via BDM/GPT (internal eeprom in SAK-TC-1797 Tricore) processor BGA been swapped to another ECU/PCB but is the same result, so i guess Internal Interface cpu is broken, ecu isn`t not full coocked, is comunication via CAN, car run engine but is many fault in car, which we cant reset.

We bought another ECU, we switch off IMMO, Engine run but there is Automatic Gearbox and after shift to D - Drive nothing heappends... guess is IMMO in gearbox as well so need synchronisation.

We dont have AVDI Arbites, (just FVDI v2018 clone, which dont sure can do it) we dont have BMW Exlorer which i know can do it with some activations.... p.s can do it via OBD? or must still desolder some memory from some module?

i have ready Eeprom dump from new/used ECU,

    It is another way?
i have a lots programmers like AVDI Prog, Tango 5 clone, UPA Clone, Xprog

but dont know how and what tools use for synchro, gearbox - ecu and other modules.

    Any answer will be Helpfull

aa ok. it is easy to do it? if i connect new ecu it is possible read ISN nr from gearbox modue (TCU) via insta, inpa, e-sys? or must take TCU module to banch, read eeprom or flash.. decrypt data from TCU, grab ISN and intergate in ECU

As your old ecu is damaged...
Read it bdm from cas unit...
Post it in the immo section that somebody extract your ISN...

Read your new ecu boot or with new protocols...
And post it also that the ISN number can be changed..

Write it back, and drive the car...

So to understand all of this procedure,, i should ...
    1) Read eeprom from example CAS module,
    2) give someone to extract ISN nr..
    3) than... this ISN number with currently eeprom from ECU give again to match new isn in ECU, what if Vin nr in ecu is diffrent? and Immo Off? they shoukld work any way?

    1) yes
    2) yes
    3) yes, change VIN and calculate checksum... immo off dont know...

just use ori eepom as it was in donor ecu, without any modification...

source cartools.lv: Authorization chain: KEY ↔ CAS ↔ ECU ↔ EGS. According to ideology, only authorized ECU can authorize EGS. Only authorized CAS can authorize ECU

If EDC17C56 is the same paart number, I did some swaps of ECU with no any authorizations, just copy eeprom to the donor ECU and job done, even Alientech Ktag shows warning "unclonable ecu".

If HW/SW matches, the chances to clone them are high...
But he don't have Ori mirco/Eeprom...
    It's not readable...
So he don't has nothing to paste...
