Hello guys,
I was looking for information about what the best mileage correction tools are because I want it to cover more car models as possible and possibly not above $500.
The best I found for its price was Digiprog III V4.94 Odometer correction . Have someone used it?
I have two question tho:
Do some car dashboards need desoldering at some point because a guy told me that the most of the cars do.
Adjusting mileage using OBD2 doesn't require you to take off the dashboard, right? Because I tried on Ford Transit 2007 with Autel Maxicom MK808 and it was unsuccessful.
Any recommendations?

Thanks for your answers guys!
I think I will buy digiprog 3 since it looks more complete with all those cables and OBD + EEPROM.
However, let's say a car is not supported. Will I be able to read at least EEPROM, so I can later try to edit its hex manually?
yes, but not each digiprog is usb able...
when you order it check that it has a ftdi chip...
you can solder it alone later...
but price is almost same...
that you can connect it on pc/notebook...
transfer eeprom...
tool has an editor, but on pc youŽll be able better to handle it...
and or upload it in forum...
Thanks! That's what I wanted to know.

Which package do you recommend me to buy? Are all those cables useful? Because I think only the last package includes both OBD and FTDI but not the cables.
Not sure if "EU normal: full" package includes both OBD and FTDI.

No no, you didn't get me.
I know OBD's meaning. What I'm confused for is can the FTDI chip ($141.68 package) be connected to OBD port too? I understand that it can be connected to USB but can it be connected on the OBD port as well? There are too many cables on the picture and it's hard to distinguish them, that's why I'm confused.
FTDI if yes on the board working only with usb.
All of china digiprog working by OBD and always if you buy full cables with digi you will connect by obd if possible, if not by cluster plug if not by clips.
And that's why there are so many cables.

It arrived, I tested it with OBD and it worked fine. However, I don't see any USB cable there, even tho it's the FTDI chip. How do I connect it to PC?

If you start bussnes you need to buy
original good programer.
90% of the car will cover dp4
then you need 2nd device
if you in usa you need dsp3 or jprog7 the best one for Usa cars.
for hundai kia honda toyota fujitsu
and S6J3001 processor you will need iprog pro and script.
for cas 2 3 3+ and ezs you need rosfar
but they dont seel them any more you can buy cas3 programer
on ebay red one.
then you will need diagnostic autell or similar.
and after this you can start bussnes
not to do cars for $50-60
but take right money for your job.
good luck in your bussines.
