Default VW caddy won't go more tha 2800 RPM

    Hello everyone,

I have a VW caddy 1.6 TDI 2011 and I have a problem with it. Problem is the car can not go more than 2800 RPM during moving and without moving. All the time can not go more than 2800RPM. I have make diagnostic and no error code present. All the time I have no error code present. I have check every fuse and all are OK. When I start the car for about 30 second or 1 minute everything is OK and RPM go 5500RPM but after 30 second or 1 minute RPM go down and not go more than 2800RPM. Any idea with this problem, or anyone have same experience with this problem

If there are no errors you should deal with the parameters and see what is wrong there, what tool did you read the errors?

Now I make a test again with car now I have this error : P261A (Coolant Pump B, Open Circuit). I think this error can make car limp mode. I have change this pump and this pump work but the error is the same. So can anyone remove this pump from ECU flash ? I have try to remove DTC OFF (to remove this error), but no succes. So anyone can help me ????

I solve the problem, I remove EGR from flash dump and remove the error from dump. Now everything is OK

I would have also said EGR. Sometimes trying a blanking plate can circle out the problem. Only issue in VAG common rail engines, the EGR is behind the engine and very hard to get to.

    Anyway nice job
