    Default EDC16u1 problem, please help

    Hy guys,

Please help me, i made a huge mistake today. I tried to switch off the EGR in my friend's Touran 2.0pd DSG 2004 bkd, and when i was moving near the car, i kicked my laptop up while it was writing. The Ksuite told me that there was an error occured during the writing. Unfortunately, i did not make BDM backup... How stupid i am...

    - Recovery with Kess doesnot work.
    - Then I opened the ECU and read the proc, flash, eeprom separately. Flash was full of 0s, e2prom was also corrupt.
    - I found some similar bdm files from Touran 2.0pd dsg, and tried to write it back with immo off, but car still doesnot start.

Do you have any idea, or full original BDM backup to recover or clone that ECU? Should I looking for a similiar HW/SW ECU, and switch off the immo in it?

I have attached my files. The first folder there is an Ori (OBD read) and the modified file what i wanted to write back. The second folder the BDM "backup" after the accident, and a third one is what i wanted to clone to my ECU with immo off.

//EDIT: The transmission signs (PDNR) are consantly flashing on the board, when i switch on the dashboard. It was not before. I have also tried to write just a 1024KB flash on BDM from a 140hp BKD bdm file, but it doesnt work. Car still doesnt start.

    HW: 0281011844
    SW: 1037372498
    VIN nr.: WVGZZZ1TZ4W166611
    SW ver.:
    Spare:
    Engine: R4 2,0L EDC
    HW Ver.:
    SW upg.: 03G906016HK 7000

    Please help me!

It seems that eeprom is ok, do not touch eeprom and try to write over BDM your original flash file you read over OBD.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I tried it yesterday as i remember, but i will try it again soon. Dont you think that there is a problem with DSG Control unit? If the eeprom is ok, car should start with original flash doesnt it?

Your OBD read is 100% OK, just write it back with BDM or KTAG and car will start.

Yes, but something is wrong with your MPC files. Original and donor are not same size.Have you BDM100 interface?
Can you make diagnostic when you write donor full BDM? When you open ECU you didn"t make any damage on PCB?

Yes I have just BDM100 tool except of Kess. An another guy from ecuconnections gave me a probably correct MPC file. I rewrite the flash with that contet what almost all of you told me 100% OK. I have tried his eeprom files as well, with the mpc him gave me, it doesnot start I cant make Kess ID reading neither. I can try it with vcds diagnostic soon, but it probably wont works as well. I took care of the PCB, it is 100%.

I have attached the files, what are already on my ECU. (MPC 233kb from another guy from ecuconnections, eeprom 4kb with immo off, and an almost OK ori flash). Panic.... Would you be so kind, and give me hope?

Unfortunately none of them work. VCDS cant see the ECU, and Kess ID reading is not as well. Do I need full BDM content from the same SW/HW ecu? It would be horrible, because as far as i know it is a very rare one (with DSG).

Take BDM100 and write this file, choose "all ecu". It is not same sw but Ecu should be alive again for diag.

I found file here on dkforum, thanks to user "dell66".

Okey, I am working on it right now, thanks. Do you think that if i clear the ECU and TCU DTCs in VCDS for example, the car should starts with the Original flash, MPC as well as eeprom content?

Thanks, but i cant write it with BDM100. It is looking for .dim files when i click full write, and this is probably a Ktag BDM read isnt it?
