I will give the 2mm a try. Any key types in particular it has any trouble with?
I will say that the 1.5mm cutter does do a better job on Honda keys. Used to have to wear down the sharp edges unless I wanted it stuck in the Ign

I keep a small flat file next to the machine with the chip brush wire brush and allen

Yes it's very bad to decode Renault VA6 only "8" and "Q" , but OK for decode Megane 2 & Laguna 2 , OK for AKL Clio 3 Laguna 3 Clio 4 Kangoo 2 using same cutting profil of blade . Personally i use automatic key cutting only for AKL & DEFU-368 for duplicate in 30 secondes / side !
I Need to update 2020_08_20 ( 1.4.4 ) firmware for more test on Clio 3 & Citroen VA2 decode blade ...

good tool for AKL , but very bad for copy VA6 common blade , disappointed because i'm in France Clio 3 , Clio 4 , Megane 3 , Megane 4 , Smart 451 & 453 , Twingo 2 , Kangoo 2 , Trafic 3 , Master 3 & Modus can't be decode & cut by this tool ( need to use PSA VA2 or 2009-RENAULT to have an approximate key copy , but no 100% work in ignition barrel )

lot of functions available only if tool are connected to APP ; decode by Photo , AKL by dealer code ...
Can correct one biting before or after cut ( good for SIP22 using first biting not available in door barrel

like PSA VA2 correction bug ( 2 years to correct ) , i waiting VA6 futur correction ... ( for me it's 5 minutes job with this high precision tool 0.01 mm of error !!!!! )

Today after last update tool can't cut VA6 by code !!!! but work fine two days ago , i used it for Clio 3 & Megane 3 after Lishi decode & factory sticker Clio 3 key code ....

For me I always have problem using lishi laguna to decode clio 4 lock.
Key cuted by dolphin not working good.
Must jiggle key right/left to open lock.

But when I copy oroginal key clio 4 all good.

copy clio 4 , using what method ? For me this bug can be corrected like VA2 PSA key , easy ...

In latest pictures see real values of decode Clio 4 key , all is OK in screen APP when manually write correct biting , just need to correct this bug , 5 minutes job for developer !

Absolutely. My Silca Easy with 3mm probe and 3mm blade copies HU92 perfectly with one pass each side before the 994 or Dolphin have even booted up and completed POST.

My DEFU are fasted than Silca , i use xp05 only for very used keys , AKL , CAS2-3 code , label factory code .... ( Fiat 500 AKL : xp05 + lonsdor = 5 minutes = no stress )

I cut 100 keys / monts with the-dolphin , the only problem is VA6 AFTER LAST FIRMWARE UPDATE

I set a 2mm cutter in there and havnt changed it in like a year.......

You can just run with a 2mm allllll day looooong

Well ... the 2mm won't go if you have to do a Hu162 / Hu162T key, it says that 1.5mm is mandatory / requested.... had to do it on the Sec E9 since the Dolphin broke my only 1.5mm cutter a few days before on a misjudgement of the tool . And then you find out that you have a whole stock of 2.0 and 2.5 but not the one you need

454 Smart ForTwo... no go, starts to decode... the wrong way. Instead of reading the key (HU53?) it goes the other direction , straight into the open air , ... error for sure and reported to Xhorse, they will upate soon
