    M4 clamp house hold keys.

Customize key data, in the app, does not allow me to create key files.
I can create keys, using the standard dolphin clamps.
What i need in this app, is to add the M4 clamp.

And the Condor mini, does it allow M4 custom files?
With unlimited ammount of depths, or atleast 20.

Well, got mine in early this month and just got to using it a while ago. It was as a more portable machine and backup to the Sec-E9, especially since that one made a mess out of Benz keys. Cut a number of keys with the Dolphin just fine but last monday had to do 3 keys and 2 failed - Citroen C3 2011 VA2 blade, looks ok, but won't turn the lock. Also Benz key for a E220, after a little fiddling did turn in the the trunk lock but door is no go.

Just redid all calibrations (inc. cutter and stepped back to 1.5 mm) , will do some extra testing tomorrow when visiting a car trader (lot's of test items around) but wasn't too happy this happened, you gotta be able to trust the cutting not to be an issue.

After some good advise now using HU64-2 option for Mercedes , also if car is before 2010 (which should be HU64). This works for me.

The Sec does the HU83 and VA2 ok but would be nice of the dolpin would be doing those a bit better too. There was an update which should have fixed several issues (nice of Xhorse not to detail which issues those are) on cutting so maybe this was included as well.

Anybody know the proper size set screws for the bits , mine are wearing out. Seem to be out of stock everywhere I have looked and nothing in my shop fits it. Would happily buy 10 or more from Amazon or Ace hardware if I can get the correct size and thread.

Why are you wearing out the set screws..........
I set a 2mm cutter in there and havnt changed it in like a year.......

    Changing the bit every key????

You can just run with a 2mm allllll day looooong

    I Do 4-8 keys a day easy

And it hasnt been changed in forever

The bit size is a suggestion

    NOT A REQUIREMENT

    2mm bit does everything

Thanks. What can I say other than habit probably created from using my 994 as my primary machine for so long.
I will give the 2mm a try. Any key types in particular it has any trouble with?
I will say that the 1.5mm cutter does do a better job on Honda keys. Used to have to wear down the sharp edges unless I wanted it stuck in the Ign

Yes this will do it as well

i always wire brush my keys before inserting

Or if you forget to shave the outside of the aluminum keys to get off the oxide layer say on a jaguar key

or a plastic key if you dont know how to work around them

Must be smarter than the machine

These things will do some silly shit if you let them
