I've done lost keys on a 1994 Clio, definately no transponder, think it was a NE72 blade.

Thanks Focus mixed reports about transponder hopefully there isn’t one. Not sure if being a Williams model if it would have better security than standard model

Whether it starts or not, it will not have a transponder. No cars had factory transponders before 1995. Some had aftermarket system before, some had remote immo system (just) before.
