Hello everybody and thank you. So in the end i ordered BDM100 from china. It could read the file after 4 hours off messing with software.
Can somebody check the file please? I dont know yet if it red correctly.

Ok so i learned that the file cant be opened because it is compressed by bdm tool. I learned that it can be decompressed and data from each chip can be separated here are the files i red.

Maybe old vagdashcan tool too. Never tested.

If you read eeprom manually, you can edit following addresses (edc16):

    programming attempts: $41
    Successfull attempts: $42
    Flash tool code: $43-$48
    Vmax (x100): $48E-$48F, $4CE-$4CF

But I'm not sure if you need update checksums.

Please keep me informed if you test a tool that can update thru obd2 plug.

    regards,

According to this on adress 41 and 42 of e2prom file can be found this:Attachment 669432

Hello thank you, I compared my file with new one you made. I see adresses from 41 to 48 are set to 00 But also adress 5F is set from D6 to 04. Is that 5F adress a CS (Checksum)? Thanks for info.

I'll be doing an eeprom flash counter reset tomorrow when I'm opening the ecu and I'm tankful for finding this thread. My kess clone didn't seem to open the flash count screen, I selected the counter option but when I read the ecu with it, it just gave me this. I didn't know what to think of it then moved to read the file with my mpps. Mpps didn't manage to edit the eeprom when I wrote it back and now it's stuck in programming mode with more flash attempts than successful. I did try to write the file kess read with counter option enabled but again it didn't open any modify screen and it gave wake up error. It did write in recovery mode in counter option but nothing changed. What is this file, it's not like it had noread tag?

So I pulled the eeprom and edited the lines 41 to 48 to all 0s then checksummed the file. One week later the car stalled and refused to start. Put the original eeprom back with 7 failed and 3 succeded and it didn't even care, the engine started.
