Default Have problem resetting the mileage of a W221 S500 2011

    Hi mates
I reset the mileage of a Mercedes S500 2011.(Reduced it from 81000 to 41000) and have faced 2 problems:
1 the mileage stored for the last battery cut-in is bigger that the present mileage
2 There was a Park Pawl request at the mileage of 78000 and we do not know how to reset this number
Can anyone guide me solve the problem?

either you read module eeprom and post here., or you try to understand and duplicate those situation.
for example, last battery cut-out... try first to do a battery reset, if not ok, let the battery drain enough so module will shut down/cut-out battery. should have your new value after that.
as to parking pawl... not sure what it means... but if it means last time ISM decide to select park when not ask to, try to replicate (example, you put in drive start going 1-2mph and open the door. it might decide to put it in park for you).

    good luck!

Thank you both for your comment
It is really difficult to read the EEprom as we should completely remove the Parking unit.
The scan tool says that due to an electric problem in the parking unit, the parking pawl request has happened. I tried to simulate the situation by disconnecting the parking unit plugs and trying to use it in different situations but it was of no use.
I tried to disconnect the battery several times and it did not work. A colleague told me that you may need to wait a few days so that the battery problem gets ok. But I do not know weather it works or not.
I will try what you said and will tell you the results.
Another colleague told me that you may be able to solve the problem by Vediamo. Do you think it might help?

speed2134m, what is the software or diagnostic tool you are using to read these parameters ?
Does your sw don't have the option to clear these parameters, or actually there
is a problem in the car that not allows you to clear it ?

My tools were original AVDI + DP4 but it wasn't possible to edit that part
We used Vediamo, flashed the park unit memory but it did not work. We finally changed the dump and it got ok.
Thank you all for your help
