Default VAG ID48 strange self unlock (how?)

Today I met very strange situation... VW Golf IV 2000 Motometer, car suddenly not start so customer bring me the key and guess what, every device I scanned for TP it detected OK every time but it said 'unlock' O_o. And 100% nobody was messing with key key before, all was in original state so my question is how is that possible and did anyone see that also? Because I've seen fo the first time something like that.

I read pin and programmed new TP and all is good. I didn't try to reprogram old transpodner though as wanted to be sure with new TP all will work as it should.

Immo2 transponders are not locked by vag cars. Most likely dash is corrupted.

yep immo 2 has unlocked megamos transponder so try to program new chip and key and see if the problems still happen with no start these chips also have limited lifespan so might be just a bad chip.
