Default FVDI Passat 3C and Audi A6

    Hello guys.

I usually never do keys but one of my friends lost 1 key from each of this cars. (keys in jacket , jacket stolen at a bar).

    Cars:
    Passat 3C 2.0 TDI 2011
    Audi A6 3.0 TDI 2012

He still has 1 key from each car.
Question : Can FVDI program new or used key for this cars ?

Should we look for some used keys on eBay or New or order new keys at dealer ?

    Thanks in advance.

For the Audi hi to the dealer, order key and get it programmed from a local locksmith.

For Passat get it programmed by the local locksmith.

Fvdi alone can't do none of the jobs.

Never did keys for cars after 2003 so experience is 0 I would rather stick to other things. Thanks everyone.

Passat is no problem with FVDI if you still have a working key.
First pre program the new key with the tag Programmer. And then with FVDI select "Add key". It is a 5 min job.

I can not comment on the Audi because I did not have to do it myself.

I would not say it if I did not have it.
I have replaced the transponder of a used key and programmed as described above.
