Default Golf mk4 1.6 AUS - two lambda sensor question

    Hello
It is possible and safe to remove two lambda sensors from car and ecu ? One is pre-cat and second after cat. Car will run ok without lambdas ? Or it is better only to remove after-car lambda ? I want to remove catalyst in the near future.

The oxygen sensor that is pre-cat is used by ECU for measurement of fuel mixture, if you remove it the engine didn't know what is going with the fuel mixture.. You can remove it but the car will in safe mode fuelling. The Lambda which one is after catalysator is for the ecologies, so if you remove it you need to lie ecu with adapter its having catalysators, other way is modifing the ECU software... I didn't suggesting removing pre-cat lambda sensor..
    Regards!
