Default Volvo S80 2005 CEM and ECM Sync needed

    Hi ,
I have a 2005 S80 2.0T with a missing ECM, I have gotten a donor ECM and need help to Sync the ECM eeprom. This CEM is a CEM-L with Serial Number 00004XXXXXX. Heard that this particular CEM-L Serial range is more challenging.

    CEM-L Part Number: 30682981
    CEM-L eeprom: 93c86
ECM Part Number: 30668478 (bosch 0261208289)
    ECM eeprom: 95080

I have attach both the eeprom files.

Appreciate any help you can offer to help sync the ECM EEPROM.

Thanks Unfortunately, I don't yet have the interface to read the M30835FJVGP chip. I only have x-prog v5.5 and the UPA programmer at the moment.
Are there any other programmers that can read this chip other than the E8A and Smok programmer ?

Believe this is due to this CEM-L having Serial Number 00004XXXXXX. Seems that most of the tools only do the CEM-L with Serial Number form 00005XXXXXX.

eeprom is read correctly, for further work it is necessary to read the CPU from CEM (ori xprog, orange5, smok)

    Thanks for the advice everyone.
I looks clear that I have to read the M30835FJVGP chip.
it will take me awhile to order a programmer that can read it. Some questions,

    1) can it be read in circuit?
    2) read in the forum that I need the CEM PIN to read it else i might end up erasing the data on it. Is there any special way to read the Renesas M32c chip?

Hi guys, I need help, my cem got wet and it's my turn to change it. I don't have data from the old cem. The eprom was sulfated. I only have micro CEM reading. Can someone match this CEM with the original ECM of the vehicle?
