Newbie advice

Hi I’m looking on getting into auto electric work as a part time job maybe full time eventually. I live in cardiff and trying to get someone out to look at a job is a nightmare none of them ever turn up. I have a fiesta 2011 Tdci 1.4 with ecu Problem so that’s my project to do wish me luck haha. Its a Bosch that’s all I no so far. I’m a pretty quick learner and computer wise I’m good I was hoping for a bit of advice on what get get programming wise etc I understand the list could be endless for different jobs etc. Is there any good guides or videos out there please. I no there some good information on here, but I don’t no were to start because I’m not sure what basic setup to go with to start. I have a carprog not sure which version at the moment I used it to wipe my crash data with help off someone kind on here about a year or so ago thanks for any information supplied.
