Default Need help identifying maps in EDC16 for VW T5

    Hi,

I am actually trying to understand the map-structure of EDC16U1 from VW T5 AXE-Engine.
    it is this ECU: 070906016AP

I was able to identify plenty of maps, but I do not understand what the maps on the following locations do:
    DDFDE Torque Limiter?
    DFF94 is it smoke limiter?

    E0350
    E5D80
    EC740
    EC834
    EC928
    ECA1C
    D35CA

    Where is SOI Maps?

I qould be really nice, if somebody could point me into the next direction.

    File is attached

    Greetings,
    Yogi

No Smoke limiter map, you have Lambda Maps instead of Smoke limiter.DFF94,E0172,E0350.
    SOI maps,E220B,E23C8,E2588,E2748,E2908,E2AC8,E2C88,E2E 48,E3008,E31C8
DDFDE 23X3 is Torque Limiter/atm pressure
Real engines don't need forced induction
Who needs a turbo when you have a stupidly quick naturally aspirated engine?

    For the record:

    E5D80- InjCrv_phiMI1HCDes_MAP- Main SOI during PoI2HC

EC740- PCR_pBDesRgn1a_MAP- Boost Setpoint A during DPF Regeneration
    EC834- PCR_pBDesRgn1b_MAP-...
    EC928- PCR_pBDesRgn2a_MAP-...
    ECA1C- PCR_pBDesRgn2b_MAP-...

    D35CA-AirCtl_mDesBase_MAP- EGR base map

    Okay, you got me....
I have no idea, what the map "E5D80- InjCrv_phiMI1HCDes_MAP- Main SOI during PoI2HC" is doing.
I can see, it comes after the SOI-Map-Sequence and behind Start-Correction-Maps.

    Kind regards,
    Yogi

Reference angle for calculation of Post injection SOI based off Main SOI.
Don't worry about it- it's pretty useless for your needs but you did ask about it...

    Okay, thx for your patience.

Now I am interested. Is Post injection only for DPF regen or also during normal operation on a non-DPF-engine?

    bye

As far as I'm aware no DPF= no post injection.
