FVDI J2534

I finally managed to buy a FVDI J2534 .I was wiggling between it and VCM2 (clone) and as far as i read J2534 would be the way to go.Now,i m new in the FORD area as i worked mainly with Opel (MDI II ,OPCOM) .I would have some questions if someone would be kind to answer.
So ,as a passthru device it would work just fine with IDS.
Would be able to make "online programming" like GlobalTis ?
Would be able to make programming of keys (if so ,what pin code will need? )
Would be able to program different options (cruise control etc) ?
From your point of view ,it s a good tool ? What querks does it have?

not so good.For work with IDS use loader and for this have many limitation.And is very instable,many time disconect from car.

try forscan is free license 2 months I work on it and makes keys until 2013

yes it will work for all the above but u have to download driers from dealership site for j2534 device

After i started this post ,i tried this tool on many cars.I did keys ,pumps programming ,diagnostics,dpf regeneration.I recommend it .

I also recommend it. I have done a couple of online programming events. It has already payed for itself. I don’t recommend updating ids frequently. When I updated it gave me a testman error. Had to install on another PC to get it working again.

Can do online programming without license，just need ford programming account (username and password)，also sell ford programming account.
