If you have another chip , try to read it with your tool. To check if your tool is ok.

I read other chips no problem I wonder if I am on right chip , I know civic is 93c76 . the chip I am on is in the right side of the two piece top cluster . the one that displays actual mileage . it s a 93c76 hi located on the inside board. I installed second unit out a used car and it reads same mileage as the first one. is the mileage stored elsewhere like in the left side of the 2 piece carrier ? am I just in wrong spot? can anyone please help with the location of the 93c76 chip or a diagram of direct connection to board thanks
