some guys say w213 without full lcd works without replacing mcu. when i check the menu i see options to soldering (same like w205 2016) so that makes sense.
is this true? no need new mcu?

and for the model with new mcu also need the same option (nr4) to program mileage?
    thnx

Yes. But only a small count. Only the first series was not blocked for reprogramming. All later versions are blocked for erasing/reprogramming.

If you replace mcu you can skip menu 2.

35160Wt can be read and written but not erased.

Not to many users seems to use dashcoder.
Or maybe they have not so many problems with the tool.
If all ok users have no reason to write to the forum.

Indeed, dashcoder is an excellent tool. Not many reasons to complain about it
