There 2 style of tibbie 3 depth or a 4 depth.. on the 3 depth a (1 is no cut) on the 4depth there has to be a 4 depth cut present in the bitting.

I think that 3 depth use only Jaguar with 8 wafers on some models - Ford don't use it in EU maybe in USA

Something is terribly wrong with this key as it seems it doesn't have No. 4 and every Tibbe key must have No. 4 cut. Is this key original?

Best solution in this case is remove ignition cylinder and read discs directly

I thought something must be wrong.

It was jaguar x type 2004 UK

I do these often so thought was strange no cut 4

Even trying to pick the lock there was no wafer 4 to use as tension

I had to leave the job earlier and told customer to go to jaguar with this one

Ah ok this is Jaguar so I have no idea about these as haven't done one but I always thought only difference might be 8 cuts instead of 6 but as I said I never done one so maybe exist some other type

    But if it doesn't really have No. 4 I would guess 3 1 2 3 2 3 might be correct...
