I bought SVCI 2020 2 weeks ago. I've tried it with bipper 2013 and vivaro 2003 and all what you can do is read codes only - that is quite expensive like a code reader so I'll try to send that back

wish i had read this first. Its Rubish and the JLR SVCI J2534 plays up.
SVCI 2020 i have yet to get it to talk to anything, 100% will not talk to land rover d3 or rr sport 2005- 2009. I mesaged tham and the said there will be an update to fix by end or march. Still not.
JLR SVCI J2534 makes mistakes and will not program. Plug Autel passthough in and works fine. Cable did not work at all (put in bin). It keeps failing to connect. They told me to buy this to fix problem, rubish. dont buy their stuff! I wont again.

Hi to all! I've bought SVCI 2020 and tried to read eeprom on EDC16U1 and EDC15P+ and it does to read. With version 2014 I can read EDC16U1, but can't do it on EDC15. Also, this SVCI 2020 does not even identify the EDC16 ECU.

    Edc16, dont ever use autodetect.
Go to diagnostics first, then have a look what ecu number and type is in there.
Turn ign on, wait 10 minutes, then read.

Plenty of great features and special functions.
Even a single Avdi licentie cost more then this tool.

I know it costs more less than AVDI....but all it's features sell IT...so if they don't work why to buy? Just to have another bad chinese tool? What about edc15?

I try read with SVCI V2019, MED9.5 No success. I try read EDC15-No success. The VVDI functions in SVCI V2019, ver 1.1 and 1.2 NOT WORK with dashboard and ecu's too, only diagnostics work. Many new functions are not working!

iv had a svdi 2020 for a few months and its cr*p. nothings activated. am i able to downgrade it and use 2017 or 2018 which has special functions?

iv been trying to make a dealer key for a 2006 passat on the vvdi2 software for it, it lets me load eeprom and decrpyts, but when i click make dealer key it tells me to plug programmer in (blue one) and it says firmware needs updating and cant connect to it.

    any ideas anyone?

    Svdi does not need downgrading.
Simply not choose the latest version in the menu.

Keep in mind that this software is 2014-2015 avdi.
Even the org avdi at that time had issues.
(And still does, Read about avdi org tool on D.K.)
Try a bench setup, next time your stuck.
Of use a different tool on the same Car.
Only then, you can truely comment on what works, and what does not.

And instead of the avdi, menu, you can also try the vvdi2 menu that is in the 2019-2020 version.

    I have a vvdi2, Avdi vag full, fvdi 2014 and 2019.
Often, if 1 fails, they others Will also fail.
Better battery suply, bench setup, disconnecting aftermarket appliances, gateway issues, security timers.
All off this needs to be taken in.

    only diagnosis possible
I destroyed my dashboard on my Audi A4 B7 when I wanted to add a new key
    Please don't buy that shit
FLY FVDI 2014 still worked well
