Ktag problem
Hello everyone
I have 2 unit Ktag failling to program ecu
when i program mod files it ask for original Then after this it shutdown my laptop
I tested with 3 diferent ecu same thing
anyone know what could be the problem ?

yes Ktag clone i have 2 was good before
So far it error on MEVD17.2.5 bmw ,,EDC17C58 honda,, EDC17C10 pSa
i did write them before but now it wont
I changed laptop also same error

I want to tell you my experiences. I wrote an EDC17C46 with KTAG clone and after this car didn`t start. I made a backup with my Kess clone before and so I was able to recover the ECU. Kess works good on this ECUs with tricore adapter, but I don`t trust my KTAG clone. Maybe the K-suite 2.23 software for KTAG clone is not so good as the 2.49 for Kess clone, but this is only my guess.

Whats is your computer? Whats hardware? Shut down is during calculation or during writing? Have you power off sleep mode or all battery saving modes in computer?

If Ktag ask for ori file, he do CRC, at this time, your Processor works 100% and if you have low power on your laptop, it goes out.

hi, its overtemperature in your laptop. This shutdown for protection. Test on other equipment.
