Default Toyota avanza 2014 c56 msop

Hi all. I have a toyota avanza 2014 with a c56 msop chip. Desoldered, read as c56x16, changed line 060 as needed, wrote back to the car, everything is fine except after a few kms temp light lights up and the handbrake light gets flipped (on when handbrake is down, off when it's up). Odo also goes to 0km after disconnecting battery. All solder points are good. Checked 10x it's not a c66 as i normally see on similar toyota models.

    Can anybody help fix this?

I would recommend check actual car engine temperature, Looks then simply car overheating. and PCM flashing Brake light to warning driver about critical situation.

Then you created it, because the files look OK but who knows?

EDIT: Ori file same thing happens on bench, sometimes 0km, sometimes goes to correct km. Eeprom desoldered by heat gun, never more than 5sec. Possible bad eeprom?

What if you read it as 93c66 then you are sure its a 93c56. never mind i found some 93c56 versions so must be 93c56.

That got me confused as well. Did a lot of these with the c66 msop with no problems.

Eeprom can make crazy miles reading, but temperature gauge ,hand brake light no. Check power and ground wirings also.
