Default Can Someone help me calculate 000,300 miles on a 2019 Ford Transit 95320 Thanks

    I Need help calculating 000,300 miles on a 2019 Ford Transit 95320
The current miles shown is 427,582 - I need, if possible 000,300 miles - thanks!
also The owner said that it had 003,398 miles on it before his locksmith tried to do an Obd2 correction
I don't know the exact machine that they used. he said that the locksmith used a tablet machine. also

I'm wondering if this dump is ok or their machine wrote to another line which may interfere with the counter ?

does anyone have a clean dump to compare?
    thanks!

The big problem with this dash is the offset can change from year to year, and there is no way to know what offset the mileage is supposed to start at because some button pusher fked it.

If jombery's file works then If not tell the owner to get the dumbass locksmith to buy him a new cluster.

I always walk away from jobs where some idiot has fked it up.

Edit: Drive it a few dozen miles then repost the dump with exactly what it displays. It may increment at the proper offset and we can decipher where the problem is. If it goes to ------ then you may be out of luck.

From what you posted and that dump I can't make sense of the data.

    RANT MODE:-

If the customer, is pulling a fast one in such a new vehicle, should have backed up eeprom
at near as possible to that milage required, then just upload and away

and/or pull fuses if possible to stop clock going up

We usually do not accept damaged or corrupt cluster but the customer didn't disclose the full story to us and he came to us with a cluster with an actual number. If it displayed 9999999 or -------- we would of turned him away. As far as him getting a replacement dash from the locksmith: the owner will be out of luck; because according to him, the lock smith set his telephone to automatically block his calls. apparently, the locksmith charged him for an immobilizer key programming. But the van doesn't have an anti-theft key system. They agreed on a correction to prevent any refund. After the "correction" the cluster went haywire and he went from initially having 3k miles to 400k miles. The owner could not confirm if the mileage continued to count up after the change. We did not test drive the van because we couldn't lock the shop. So we will have to wait till he bring back the van; then ill report back!

I'm not sure what the real story is; but the owner said that the locksmith did the mileage job so that he wouldn't have to refund him on a key reprogramming

He charged him to cut the key plus to reprogram a chip but the vehicle doesn't have that security feature

What i mean is owner trying to pull a fast one, but instead of making money, will costvhim mondy

but if eeprom was backed up at 250 miles, would be ok. Judt reload and done

I'm curious : are you able to see the 427,582 miles on your end or do you see another mileage value? thanks!

Looking at it more in depth I may have sorted the offset out. These are calculated in Km and I can see 688126 Km or about 427582 miles.

The problem is the CS is at the wrong end of the string from the older ones. I don't know if this is a new change because I don't have a known good file to compare it to.

    Example of what I'm seeing...

    Your file string: 00 00 69 00 96 ff where inverted mileage string 00 69 00 00 = 688128.0 and the CS follows the mileage
Normal string: 96 ff 00 00 69 00 where the CS normally precedes the mileage.

When they return with a few more miles on it it will be easier to correct as long as it increments properly with the bad correction.
Please DO NOT PM me asking for help.

Default the dash counting fine with a 2014 dump

I tried a 2016 ford transit dump from another post and it's now showing 2021 miles but now the screen is very dull and the temperature gauge is bouncing very slightly every thing else seems to be ok here is the dump
