Default Need Opel Astra G MID Dump

Hi I need a dump for a Opel Multiple Info Display to research where the index-code is.
Mine has a wrong index code, and before i get to read the eeprom, i want to make a little research, so i need a mid dump.

And also, does anyone know how to change the indexcode for my mid if i provide the dump ? I can pay if it's necessary.

[/ QUOTE]

All options changed with Tech2, read display dump first

Hi thanks for the tip, i've managed to get out the dump from my mid. I want the indexcode 018, and if you can change the language to english, that would be great, if you can't, isn't a problem.
Thank you so much! If i can repay to you somehow, let me know
And also, what the heck does "wbr" mean? ) I've seen your post on so many topics and everytime i've asked myself )

It’s a Multiple Info Display. It’s a simple display and that is the point, isn’t a gid or a cid display.
Actual index code is 006, but in case, i can provide another dump, with another indexcode to compare. I’ve tried but the difference is only on line 2 on ascii. First 3 hexadecimal groups.

Is the indexcode itself, and a decimat to hexa convertor i think will not work. Do you sugest changing directly in ascii?

Yes. originally was mounted with cdr500, communicating with i2c SDA, SCL, MRQ with the MID.
I've atached a few dumps that i find on the web with known index code.
The eeprom it's 93c46, and ies it's small, it has 128kb aka 1K of memory.

The funny thing is i have lots of dumps for this device, but I missed math class, and after a entire day spent on this forums, comparing bin's...using xor and other calculators, the dump is dump, and i am stil a dumb.

    1-
    Index: 002
Program code:3 (i think it's for language, but i don't know what language it is related to number 3)
Nr of impulses: 14972 (i think it's related with wheel size)

    2-
    Index: 006
    Program code:3
Nr of impulses: 14972 (i think it's related with wheel size)

These displays are changed with via OBDII tool, Tech2 with 128mb card will do these

On these it's encrypted, just use an OBDII tool, simple, why complicate things

Because i don't have a obd tool, here in romania a tech2 isn't cheap. And also, it's a challenge for me to understand that, and i want my fuel consumption to show right.
