Finally got time to mess with the carprog and the HC11 manuals. So for reference the masket set on the processor is E22B. Got most of the colors and points worked out but I need to figure out the PD0/RxD (Green) and PD1/TxD (yellow). Those colors are based on the carprog HC11 manual but when I look at the pinouts on Codecard the diagram says that Yellow is RX (pin 13) and Green is TX (pin 14). Seems the colors on codecard are switched. Should I go by the colors on the carprog manual or by the pic on Codecard?

Colors are colors only. Check signal continuity in your adapter according to codecard info. ...this is the important thing

I get the whole continuity thing but that still wouldn't tell me which pin is RX and which is TX.

    TX : pin 14
    RX: pin 13

I can't understand why you don't see this if you already have all pdf manuals of carprog....even with pictures, names and colors

I can see the manuals, pictures, names and colors but that was my confusion and why I posted my question. My post asked if I should go by the carprog manual or the the carprog pin pic from Codecard. The manual didn't tell me which pin TX or RX is and the colors were different than on Codecard. By your response you answered my question. I should use the the pic of codecard. That's all you had to say.....

Because "Carprog Colors" I designed my adapters three years ago,
Now color doesn't matter, it's very easy to use.

I see that some guys have started copying my design, few months ago,and make advertising on the forum, ....

in any case a good adapter means a successful business.
