    Default Passat B6

    Hi Chaps,
got VVDI Prog recently and am practising on a comfort module off a B6 passat. On the chip it has 96248 but on VVDI i am looking under Eerprom and flash then ST clip but when it comes to the chip i cant find 96248. How do i get to correct chip please. New to this.
    Thankyou

Hello to all. There is a little dot that marks pin 1.
Or when you look the ic the marking is from left to right and the ST logo is in left bottom corner, this is pin one. Or put picture of IC here to help you.

Im using VVDI Prog to try and read this but every time it is saying chip not connected, i have new chips to try as well but the same result, i can read 24C04 and 93C56 every time so not sure what im doing wrong. i will try and upload a pic to show thew chip and software. assuming pin 1 is bottom left by logo on chip. Thanks in advance
