Nothing would put the bcm2 into service mode though.
So used other method to complete.

I have not had luck with 13+ Q5 using vvdi2 unplug or bdm method in USA, last time i tried was about 6 months, I was under the impression encryption had changed 2013+.

Has vvdi2 gotten an update I missed in the last few months that added all keys lost or have I just had bad luck? Or did you use a different method like ODIS?

I've done them no problem with vvdi2.
Last one was Q5 2012. Done in 2 minutes.
After u unplug the bcm connect back and then hold your foot down on brake pedal,turn side lights on..
This is how I do these and never had problems.
