Fvdi can do it if you enter service mode by dump , even carprog 8.21 clone can do this dash if you patch eeprom .

After this all coding, in dash and in anoher place too, death!
And for future,this function not work in fvdi!!!

i will make a video tomorrow to prove you ! One with fvdi one with carprog ( after i killed one i learned how )
LE: The car is a 2014 Touran original dash was changed after a bad eeprom read , now a have on my car a 875 RHD changed to work in KM , original dash needed patch eeprom to get to service mode , now this one gets to sm via obd , i used 2018 fvdi and pena carprog 12.24 with a 8.21 firmware .

more pics , china tools are risky , but sometimes you can do the job with them .

Look like you lucky!
But Im have bad experience with this because 2 dash (eep dump) death after this,and after load original all long coding in dash/abs/dsg/parking brake/ dowm to zero!....and solved only online away!

So.....good luck mike870 with fvdi !!!..........

For another people better if use high quality tool for this job!!.....(my recomendation,for safe time and $$$$$$$)

Carprog do this job în 3 minute, work fine version 13,06 geniue tols, no fvdi, no try, with carprog can do service mode dash by obd, second key, 3,key...... Till 8 key, car 2015, all vw with megamos crypto tr48,
