VW golf dash ‘error’ display

Hello
I have a 2011 golf with error where the mileage should be.

Is it a checksum error? The cluster works fine, all LEDs work.
Fault code is B2000-49

Any advise?

Maybe wrong km set.
Try set to 0km..........thinking.gif

One or some warning lights broken(removed LED). Open cluster and check all LED lights.

What happend? Was it mileage job or dash swap?
Is it MM dash or VDO?
Try to put different mileage.

I think that cluster is MM. And naw you have generic checksum error. This is hapaned when you traying to recalibrate milage. Read nec and eeprom and put here.

If you can read eeprom+flash directly, post it here and we'll check.

Hi everyone, thanks for the reply’s.

So I got the car like this, I have not tried to modify.
I have genuine xprog and genuine smok and both have problem reading chip.
It is a MM dash, with 9s12xhz512 1M80F

Tried reading secured 9s12 but no luck
