    depends on condition of locks , ive had these fight but most sail through .

    for your info you will not find a wafer in position 8 , there isnt one , you will only find wafers in positions 1 to 7 , the generic 1 cut in 8th position has no wafer to interact with.

    of course on the old fourtwo this is the case , the boot lock when turned and held should unlock central locking , fourtwo,fourfour etc blend into 1 as so rarely seen .

    Hi guys
    Having a trouble with smart 2002 locks
    Decoded ignition
    1 4 1 3 2 4 4
    On Instacode and on my Miracle A9 this code doesn’t exist. According to Insta wafers are 5 to 8. So Im not sure what correct code should be in this case
    Car is non runner atm so i have few days

    Regards

    try 58576885 , you wont find a valid code on instacode as instacode doesnt have the code series for this .

    if you have used a lishi with values 1234 on the grid then instacode lists the cuts as 5678 , so convert using following table;

    1 = 5
    2 = 6
    3 = 7
    4 = 8

    position 8 is always a 1 cut so on instacode a 5 .

    so

    14132441 should cut as 58576885 , hopefully this will give you your correct key

    ive not had this on smart , had similar on hyundai when the machine i had at the time cut the tip angle too steep and wafer got jammed behind the cut stopping extraction , i used to hand file the angle on these to make it less harsh , the machines i have now dont suffer the same and cut a better key.

    if all else fails torch the car , it would be viewed as a mercy killing
