FVDI 2014 with "ERROR 5"

HI all, I have an FVDI and most times I get "ERROR 5" when I select a car make.
If I reinstall the software it works once then next time I get "ERROR 5" again...

Any ideas how to fix this? I'm using Windows10, NO other option is available so please don't say XP etc....

try add drivers manually and also set to latency 1

Latency is already 1

Also on Porsche and Volvo I get "ERROR 3" .. what error is this?

fvdi 2014 has a lots of problem with drivers and also doing some collision with others drivers...............
the best way to buy other ( used ) notebook with win7 and install only fvdi ( i did like this )

make sure you use twin usb cable which came with fvdi

and you think that it not work with other usb cable...

in my case it was opposite...
cable delivered from Shenzen, was sooooooo good quality that it even not worked one minute...
used other cable and it worked...

yes that's what I think because twin cable supply more current but depend laptop USB performance , I had same problem before when I used single usb cable

installed on windows xp vm, no problems except for when trying to detect programmer, usually skip first instance. sometimes have to restart exe about 5 times.
