    Oh no..
Ok backtrack your steps. A non boot condition can happen if either the 8pin eeprom or the 44 pin eeprom has a bad solder joint.
If that's all you have done have a good look in those areas.

Anytime. If you're prepared to work with it I am still here to help.

For your reference, Attached is the correct orientation of the 27C1024 eprom.
As Tango says, it's easy to get it 90 or 180 degrees out.
As you can see the flat corner of the eprom used for orientation goes closest to the processor and towards the edge of the ecu.

I can't find another explanation. The problem started when I tried immo off.I try each flash with the corresponding eeprom with original file and the ecu does not boot.I've checked all the joints and it's ok.I read the flashes and eeproms regularly. I haven't burned them since warming up.What else can it be to blame? Is the processor?

the only eeprom you need to use is the original eeprom from the original ecu for the defender you are try it on
the eeprom from new ecu you should put to one side and leave it there

just make sure you have the correct eeprom for the car (it not only holds the immo, it also has the injector codes in it)
