Default BMW airbag ecu 93B3 fault

    Hello,

i have fault 93B3 airbag passanger stage 2 inside ECU BMW E91. Airbag is good, wires and connector too. Is it possible that the ECU is bad? If I buy a new ECU, can I connect it without coding, or do I have to code? The car started many times with the wrong battery. ECU number is 9119058.

You can copy eeprom info from old to new or swap...should be 95640 and no coding needing after

I finally had time to work with BMW. I solved it by exchanging the ecu. I copied the eeprom from the old ECU to the new one. The error is gone, but an error is now stored inside the unit. He writes a problem with the software version. But the airbag does not light up on the instrument panel, so it's probably ok :-)
