Well guys good news and bad news......
I dual booted a laptop with an i5 processor and windows 7 x86 and everything worked
The bad news is that I really needed it to work on the amd laptop
check whats installed on new laptop that isnt installed on other
ie what version .net extra
if its working on one it should work on other (not sure about amd laptops as i prefer intel)
Thanks for the reply
The new laptop was a fresh install of windows 7 with nothing else installed or updated.
If anything the new one should have less chance of working because it doesn't have anything updated.
The old laptop runs everything else so I can't understand why it crashes with fgtech.
The only difference is that the old laptop has a AMD processor.
Does anyone know where I could get any new AMD drivers ?
amd drivers are in the drivers folder im sure
I have noticed something else today.....
When I first double click the eobd2 software on the old laptop, the first message I see is the one saying the system is newer than vista and need that do another patch (or words to that effect? ).
But when I first double click the icon on the working laptop I get the message in the picture attached before I get the vista patch message.
I have checked and all uac settings are turned off.
Is this another clue on what's causing it to crash?
it seems that its not fully off then...Recheck it
Open the software that does the second patch, with galletto connected and just wait, listen to your galletto ,it should be doing clicking sounds. Then after some time, software will open.Depends on your laptop.
If i Helped you,use thanks and rep button to thank me back
