MMI 2G conversion from A8 4E to A6 4F

Hi there. How do I convert an mmi 2g unit from a8 to a6? At the minute I have a8 unit in my a6, and for instance climatronic settings are not shown on mmi screen as a few other problems. Is there an easy way to convert it to a6?

Did it. Swapped eeproms and flashed with bootloader. Climatronic shows up on the screen.
