Default Lexus GS300 1994 Key from Lock Code

Hello, I am requesting your advise to generate a key from the code in the lock. I am trying to remove the cylinder to decode it but I am unable to remove it probably because my lack of experience. The space is very tiny and I cannot fit my hands with any tool.

I cut a key using the cylinder not numbers I am able to catch my camera but I think it should be 5 digits and not 4. Please advise how to remove the lock cylinder.

-autos mart says there should be a code on the lock, I have seen the correct code in other cars at the side of the lock.
    - I do not know how to remove the lock, looking for guidance
    - I do not have a decoder, usually I do it using the pins after dissembled
    - the trunk does not opens.

Default Lexus GS300 1994 Key from Lock Code

Took the cylinder out with regular tools. The window glass bracket was in the way apparently because an issue or malfunction. The point is, the cylinder is out, turns out that the code is a part number yes. I decoded the cylinder and made a key.

I do not see where the half ass work is. Review my previous post or better yet, do not and keep your half reasoned comments to your self.

Thanks at first that is what I got from my InstaCode. But unfortunately it is a part number. I decoded the wafers and got the key. Turns out that the code it is located on the driver side for this car. Again, thanks for your reply. When someone is too deep inside the box a fresh view is always welcome.

You are not helping at all and you are not obligated to. That is a fact. You are not nice at all that’s another fact. You have some serious issues reading the second post and at this point I do not care. Try to save the flames it will help the community in general that’s another fact. Thank you.

General update: I was able to create the key by decoding the wafers. After this, I found that the code was located on the driver side.

There are 3 screws that need to be removed and there are holes to do access them. This particular car have problems with the passenger windows and the window assembly is in the way blocking the access to the screws. But with a 10mm and a screwdriver it can be removed.

Remember to unplug the cable connected to the lock before getting it out.

    Thanks for stopping by.
