Default GRANDE PUNTO STEERING COLUMN MAY BECOME DISCONNECTED

GRANDE PUNTO STEERING COLUMN MAY BECOME DISCONNECTED

Heard today for the first time:
in 2009 Fiat did a recall for a problem related to steering column of the Grande Punto.

    Please read these article:
    http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls

    http://europe.autonews.com/article/.../fiat-recalls-grande-punto

What could happen: you are driving and the car doesn't steer = YOU CAN'T CONTROL THE CAR

Default GRANDE PUNTO STEERING COLUMN MAY BECOME DISCONNECTED

That's not cool: from now on I'll walk far away from a Grande Punto that could kill me everytime I'm walking down the street.

    Meat, I'm a cat.
The guy in the video can steer, a Grande Punto owner with the problem in the column can't.
Immagine me riding a bicycle and a GP will cut me as a lawn mower.
I was "life is beautiful - everything is ok" one second before the GP cut me in pieces.

This is more a report than a manufacturer fu.
Sitro C4 lost control of rear during a corner on a dry and clean asphalt, initial speed 45mph,
car hit one small wall with rear, then 1 small wall with front, then hit a tree with
the roof A/B pillar passenger side.
Not a driver mistake. Another car to blacklist and labeled as Psyco car.
