Carprog help

Hi I'm trying to read the pin from a astra H 1.7
When I connect carprog and select the ECU I get error

carprog couldn't not receive can kwp frame
Anyone know why ?
I've been looking into the A1 adapter not sure if it's correct
Also doing this via OBD

Does the A1 plus cable normal come with the carprog ?
And is it different to the A1 cable

A1 plus is the newer cable you have to buy extra

Are you sure carprog reads the pin from the astra H?

The reason i ask is because i know it didn't work when tried on a corsa d and they are pretty much the same.
