digiprog F150 04 05 or xprog

I don't know if digiprog can do this 04-05 f150 cluster.
Two days ago a friend tried with HC11 on the my digiprog3 clone and no. Tried HC12 on it and it looked ok. But when he checked with his smelecom dsp iii he said it was wrong and I think he repaired it and corrected it. I was busy and not around to ask questions. But after looking at an extra cluster I already had, it has a 9s12 and digiprog don't do them. Do they all have this 9s12 or are some HC11 & HC12? One more thing, does HC11 and HC12 in the digiprog mean 68HC11 & 68HC12?
I have an ebay Xprog-m I've never used, what pins do I use for reading this old 9s12?
